How to host a Lovable app on Project3000

Lovable is great for building. To run the app on hosting you choose, get its code into a folder and let an AI coding tool prepare it with one Project3000 prompt.

By the Project3000 team · · 4 min read

In short: open an AI coding tool on your project folder, paste the Project3000 prompt from your dashboard, approve its steps, then click Deploy. Your app is live on an HTTPS link with a database included, from $9.90 per month.

Before you start

  • Your app's code in a folder on your computer (exported from Lovable to GitHub or downloaded).
  • An AI coding tool that works in your project folder: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI.
  • A Project3000 account. Creating one takes a minute.

Deploy your Lovable project, step by step

  1. Create your account at project3000.io with Google or email, and set up two-factor sign-in (it takes a minute).
  2. Choose a package and create the app. Its name becomes its address: your-name.apps.project3000.io.
  3. Export the project from Lovable (connect it to GitHub and clone it, or download it), then open the folder in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, with approval turned on, so it asks before it runs each command. The “See how” links in the dashboard show where both settings are.
  4. Copy the prompt from your dashboard and paste it into your AI tool. It reads your project, adds the two files Project3000 needs (a Dockerfile and a manifest.json), connects the app to its included database and cache, and uploads it. Approve each step when your AI tool asks.
  5. Click Deploy. Your app goes live on its own HTTPS link and runs as two copies on separate servers. Share the link with anyone.

Tips for Lovable projects

  • Lovable projects often use Supabase. Your app can keep using Supabase as it is, or you can ask your AI to move the data to the database that comes with Project3000.
  • Copy the settings your app needs (for example the Supabase URL and public key) when the prompt asks your AI about them.
  • Recent Lovable templates render pages on the server, so they need a running server, not plain file hosting. Project3000 runs it as a normal app.

What your app gets

Its own PostgreSQL-compatible database and Redis-compatible cache, a free HTTPS certificate, two copies on separate servers with automatic recovery, and a link to share. Pro and Business apps can use your own domain.

Questions and answers

Can my Lovable app keep using Supabase?
Yes. Apps on Project3000 can connect to outside services. Your AI keeps the Supabase connection and its settings.
Do I lose anything by leaving Lovable hosting?
You can keep editing in Lovable; when you want to ship a new version, pull the latest code and use Redeploy.
