The short version

  • Always keep your own backup. Back up your whole project before you start, and keep your backups up to date. Our own backups are only for recovering the Service after a disaster; they aren't a backup of your apps.
  • Made for simple AI projects such as demos, prototypes and small apps. It isn't for critical systems, important data or apps that need guaranteed uptime.
  • Monthly packages, cancel anytime. Basic, Pro or Business per app, plus tax where it applies. No refunds, except where the law requires one. Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller.
  • You're responsible for your apps and what they do. Use Project3000 legally and fairly.

Full Terms of Use

The agreement

Project3000 ("Project3000", "we", "us") runs the website project3000.io and the app hosting service on it (together, the "Service"). These Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and Project3000.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" also means that organization.

What Project3000 is for

Project3000 lets you put simple projects built with AI tools online at a live address (for example yourapp.apps.project3000.io) with one prompt and one click, so you can show them, share them and use them.

The Service is made for simple projects, such as demos, prototypes, portfolio pieces, experiments and small personal or team apps. It is not designed for, and you agree not to rely on it for:

How apps run. Each app runs as at least 2 copies on different servers, so it can keep running if a server stops, and it gets its own database (PostgreSQL-compatible) and cache (Redis-compatible), included in its package. Apps use these and can't run their own database or cache inside the app; when your AI tool prepares an app, it adapts the app to this (for example, an app built on MySQL, SQLite or MongoDB is converted to use the provided database).

Each app runs on one package, which you choose when you create the app. Each package has its own price and resource limits. The current packages are shown in the FAQ on our site, and they are at the moment:

Every upload can hold up to 20,000 files. An app's package can't be changed after the app is created; to move an app to another package, create a new app on that package and deploy it there. We may change these limits. If a change affects your running apps, we'll try to let you know in advance.

Project3000 badge. Every app's web pages show a small "Live on Project3000" line at the very bottom of the page, after your app's own content, linking to our site. We add it automatically, on all packages. It never covers your app's content: on apps that fill the screen and can't scroll, it appears as a small label in a free corner instead, only where nothing is under it, and visitors can close it. It doesn't use cookies or collect data about your visitors.

Custom domains. On Pro and Business you can connect a domain you own to your app. You must own the domain or be allowed to use it, and you're responsible for its registration, renewal and DNS records. To connect it, we ask you to add DNS records that prove you control it, and we then get a free security certificate for it from Let's Encrypt, which renews automatically. Your app's *.apps.project3000.io address keeps working too. If you remove the domain, delete the app, or your DNS records stop pointing to us, the domain stops showing your app. We may refuse or remove a domain that breaks these terms or someone else's rights.

Your projects and backups

Backups are your responsibility. Before you start working with Project3000, you must make a complete, working backup of your project (its code, files and database) that you know how to restore. You must keep your own up-to-date backups for as long as your app is live. To help, you can download a complete copy of any app at any time (its code, files and databases, as one ZIP file) with the Download button in your dashboard.

Our backups are for disaster recovery only. We keep backups of the Service so we can bring it back after a serious failure, for example if a data center is lost. They are not a backup or restore service for your apps: we decide whether and how to use them, a restore may not include your latest changes, and copies are kept for a limited time only (see our Privacy Policy). We don't guarantee that your apps, files or data will be kept or can be recovered, so you must still keep your own complete, up-to-date backups. We work hard to keep the Service healthy and your apps running, but files and data on the Service can become unavailable or lost at any time.

For example, an app and its files and data will be removed, or may be lost:

The deploy prompt and your AI tool. To deploy, you copy a prompt from Project3000 into an AI tool of your choice (for example ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor). That AI tool can read, change and package files in your project folder on your own computer, and it uploads your project to us. You choose and run the AI tool yourself, at your own risk: check what it does, and only run it on a project you have backed up. We aren't responsible for any change, loss or damage that your AI tool causes on your computer or to your files.

Each time you start a deploy or redeploy, we ask you to confirm again that you have backed up your project. We keep a record of that confirmation.

Your account

Plans, payments and cancelling

Paid plans. You pay per app slot, and each slot belongs to one package (Basic, Pro or Business). Each slot lets one app of that package stay live. Prices are shown before you pay (currently $9.90, $24.90 or $49.90 per slot per month, as listed in section 2). When you add a slot during a billing period, you pay a one-time amount for the rest of that period, shown before you pay, and the full monthly price from your next renewal. Prices are before tax: VAT or sales tax is added where it applies and shown at checkout before you pay.

Our reseller, Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Renewal. Plans renew automatically every month and are charged to your saved payment method until you downgrade or cancel.

Downgrading and cancelling. You can downgrade or cancel at any time from Your plan in your dashboard. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the app you choose is removed at that time. Until then it stays live.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, Paddle tries again. If it still can't be collected, your subscription ends, and your apps stay online for 7 days so you can pay or save what you need. After that they are removed.

Refunds. Payments are not refundable, including for part of a month, except where the law requires a refund (for example, cancellation rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, where they apply). See our Refund Policy.

Price changes. We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service, or any app you put on it, to:

If we believe an app breaks these rules, we may stop it, remove it or suspend your account, with or without notice where needed to protect people or the Service.

Your content and your apps

You own your projects. We don't claim ownership of your code, files or content. You give us permission to store, copy, build, run and show them only as needed to provide the Service to you.

You're responsible for your apps. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload. You're responsible for what your apps do and show, for the people who use them, and for any data they collect, including having your own privacy notice where needed and making your app accessible to its visitors. Apps on *.apps.project3000.io are created and controlled by their owners, not by Project3000.

Availability and changes

We designed the Service for high availability: it runs on several servers, apps run as multiple copies, and common failures are handled automatically. Even so, we don't promise any level of uptime or availability, including for apps on the Business package, whose reserved resources are about capacity, not uptime. The Service may be slow, interrupted or unavailable, for example during maintenance, updates or outages. We may add, change or remove features, and we'll try to give notice of important changes.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account and have your personal data removed, email [email protected]. We'll do it within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close your account, or remove apps, if you break these terms, if you don't pay, if we must do so by law, or to protect other users or the Service. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. When an account is closed, its apps are removed.

No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that files and data will be kept.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against Project3000 because of your apps, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent the law allows.

Other services

The Service works with services from other companies, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for hosting and email, Cloudflare for network protection, Paddle (our reseller) for payments and taxes, Google for sign-in, Telegram for support chat, Let's Encrypt for security certificates, and the AI tools you choose to use. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the Service changes or the law requires it. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we'll tell you by email or on the site, and we'll ask you to accept the new terms before you continue using your account.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the Service, unless the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring a claim where you live.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we don't give it up.
