How to deploy an app built with Claude
Claude Code works directly in your project folder, so it can prepare and upload your app in one pass. Paste the Project3000 prompt, approve its steps, and your app is live after one click.
In short: open Claude Code on your project folder, paste the Project3000 prompt from your dashboard, approve its steps, then click Deploy. Your app is live on an HTTPS link with a database included, from $9.90 per month.
Before you start
- Your app's code in a folder on your computer (built with Claude or Claude Code).
- Claude Code installed and signed in.
- A Project3000 account. Creating one takes a minute.
Deploy your Claude Code project, step by step
- Create your account at project3000.io with Google or email, and set up two-factor sign-in (it takes a minute).
- Choose a package and create the app. Its name becomes its address:
your-name.apps.project3000.io. - Open Claude Code on your project folder, with approval turned on, so it asks before it runs each command. The “See how” links in the dashboard show where both settings are.
- Copy the prompt from your dashboard and paste it into Claude Code. It reads your project, adds the two files Project3000 needs (a Dockerfile and a
manifest.json), connects the app to its included database and cache, and uploads it. Approve each step when Claude Code asks. - Click Deploy. Your app goes live on its own HTTPS link and runs as two copies on separate servers. Share the link with anyone.
Tips for Claude Code projects
- In the Claude app, open Claude Code, choose Local and pick your app’s folder before you paste the prompt. In a terminal, run
claudefrom inside the folder. - Keep approval on (not Auto mode). In fully automatic modes Claude Code decides by itself, and it may refuse to send files to an outside address, so the upload never arrives.
- If you built the app in a Claude chat (claude.ai), save the files into one folder first and open that folder in Claude Code.
- Claude Code can run
docker buildto test the build before uploading, if Docker is installed on your computer.
What your app gets
Its own PostgreSQL-compatible database and Redis-compatible cache, a free HTTPS certificate, two copies on separate servers with automatic recovery, and a link to share. Pro and Business apps can use your own domain.
