What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want to an AI and letting it write the code. You steer with words and feedback; the AI handles the syntax.
In short: vibe coding = building apps by talking to an AI. People use chat tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), app builders (Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit) and coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot). The last step, putting the app online, can be done by the same AI with a deploy prompt.
How it works
- Describe the app you want, the way you’d explain it to a person.
- The AI writes the code and runs it.
- You try it and say what to change. Repeat.
What it’s great for
- Personal tools, prototypes and internal apps.
- Small businesses that need a simple app fast.
- Developers who want to move faster on routine code.
What to watch
- Data should live in a real database, not a file. See a real database for your AI app.
- Keep secrets out of the code. See keeping your AI-built app safe.
- Keep your own backup.
Sharing what you built
A working app on your laptop is only half the fun. With Project3000, the AI that built it can also put it online: one prompt, one click, and you have a link anyone can open. See how to put an AI app online.
Put your app online today
One prompt in the AI you already use, one click to deploy. A database, HTTPS and a link you can share are included. From $9.90 per app per month.
